1. Eligibility
1.1 The Edupro Green Talent Awards (GTA) 2025 is open to individuals aged 16–32 from any country.
1.2 Participants must form a team of 3–5 members to compete.
1.3 Teams can be made up of students, early-career professionals, or young entrepreneurs.
1.4 Each participant may only be a member of one team during the competition.
1.5 Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Edupro (UK) or the University of Leeds are not eligible to participate.
2. Registration
2.1 All teams must register through the official website: www.eduprouk.com/greentalent.
2.2 Registration is free of charge.
2.3 Teams must provide accurate contact details for all members.
2.4 Registration is complete only when a confirmation email from Edupro GTA 2025 is received.
3. Competition Rounds
3.1 The competition consists of four rounds:
Round 1: Open Case Challenge
Round 2: Thematic Case Challenge
Round 3: Semi-Final Pitch
Round 4: Grand Finale (Hybrid, University of Nottingham, UK)
3.2 Participation in Round 1 is mandatory to qualify for later rounds.
3.3 The Grand Finale will be conducted in a hybrid mode (in-person + online).
4. Submission Guidelines
4.1 All solutions must be original and created by the team members.
4.2 Plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
4.3 Submissions must be sent to greentalent@eduprouk.com (and not to other email addresses).
4.4 All team members must be copied (cc) in the submission email.
4.5 Submission formats, word/page limits, and file types will be specified in the case instructions.
4.6 Late submissions will not be accepted unless approved under exceptional circumstances.
5. Judging & Results
5.1 Judging is conducted by an independent panel of experts.
5.2 Solutions will be assessed on creativity, feasibility, sustainability impact, and presentation.
5.3 All judging decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
5.4 No individual feedback will be provided due to the nature of the competition.
6. Awards & Prizes
6.1 Prizes for the Grand Finale winners:

- Winner: GBP 500 + Globe Trophy + Medals + Award Certificate + Gift Hamper + Visa Invitation Letter
- 1st Runner-Up: GBP 300 + Medals + Award Certificate + Gift Hamper
- 2nd Runner-Up: GBP 200 + Medals + Award Certificate + Gift Hamper
6.2 All finalists will receive a Certificate of Recognition.
6.3 Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
7. Conduct & Fair Play
7.1 Teams must maintain professionalism and respect towards organisers, judges, and fellow participants.
7.2 Misconduct, harassment, or unethical behaviour will lead to disqualification.
7.3 No lobbying or attempting to influence judges is allowed.
8. Data Protection & Publicity
8.1 By participating, teams consent to Edupro using their names, photographs, and project summaries for promotional purposes.
8.2 All personal data will be handled in accordance with GDPR and will not be sold to third parties.
9. Travel & Visa
9.1 For teams qualifying for the in-person Grand Finale, Edupro will issue Visa Invitation Letters.
9.2 Travel, accommodation, and visa costs are the responsibility of the participants unless otherwise stated.
10. Amendments
10.1 Edupro reserves the right to modify the competition format, rules, or deadlines with reasonable notice.
10.2 Any updates will be communicated via the official website and email.
11. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
11.1 All submissions must be the original work of the participating team.
11.2 Teams retain ownership of their ideas, concepts, and solutions.
11.3 By submitting an entry, teams grant Edupro and its strategic partners a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

- Publicly share summaries or extracts of the project (with credit to the team)
- Use content in competition-related reports, publications, case studies, and promotional materials
- Present the work at events, webinars, and conferences for educational purposes
11.4 Edupro and its partners will not claim commercial ownership of the ideas but reserve the right to showcase them as examples of innovation in sustainability.
11.5 Participants are responsible for protecting their own intellectual property (e.g., through patents, trademarks, or copyright) if they wish to commercialise their solutions.
11.6 Any use of third-party content must comply with copyright laws and be properly credited.
12. Data Protection & GDPR Compliance
12.1 Edupro is committed to protecting participants’ personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
12.2 By registering for the Edupro Green Talent Awards, participants consent to Edupro collecting, storing, and processing their personal data for the purposes of:

- Administering the competition
- Communicating updates and deadlines
- Publicising results and showcasing winning/shortlisted entries
12.3 Personal data will only be shared with trusted competition partners and judges where necessary for evaluation or event coordination.
12.4 Participants have the right to:

- Request access to their personal data
- Request correction or deletion of their personal data (subject to competition requirements)
- Withdraw consent at any time (note: withdrawal may result in disqualification from the competition)
12.5 Edupro will store personal data securely and retain it only for as long as necessary for competition and reporting purposes.
12.6 By participating, entrants acknowledge that their name, country, team details, and submitted content may appear on Edupro’s website, social media, and promotional materials.
By registering for Edupro GTA 2025, all participants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
